October 2008 - Targa Rally and GreenPeace
Some great jobs this month! Steve and I filmed the Targa Rally from the air over two days...just magic. All kinds of beautiful cars racing against the clock, in some amazing locations. My favourite part was in Taranaki...
...where the hills are SO rugged. Such a beautiful place. Wanted desperately to take the door off the chopper and get some stills, but I was glued to the gyro controls. Can't wait to see what they put together with the footage! Steve and I also did another job for Greenpeace, some of their activists chained themselves to logging equipment near Taupo and we shot that from the air. Off to Melbourne next month! Cheers, Dan
