October 2007 - Ultimate Escape
Have been doing a lot of aerial work, some city shots for Westfield, aerials for Maranui Estate at Waihi Beach, and also a promo video for Pachoud Motor Yachts and Cruise New Zealand. Last job I did for Dave Pachoud ended with me hanging onto 'A' buoy 5 kms off the coast of Mt Maunganui...
...with Dave trying to drift the boat in close enough for me to jump back on, laughing his head off at my predicament and trying to negotiate the fee! Cheeky bugger, anyway his latest boat is Ultimate Escape, a 70 ft powercat built for Craig and Trish Armstrong of Cruise New Zealand. It's a pretty awesome machine, flies along at 30kts. Catamarans are so stable, and this is the nicest one I've seen ever. They charter the boat for corporate functions, weddings etc. If you're in need of a super cool evening on the water...check them out here.
