January 2010 - New Caledonia
Holy batballs I've just returned from a magic trip to New Caledonia. The New Caledonian government has purchased an MSII system and I was sent there to install it to their helicopter and train up their chief operator...
...his name is Martial Dosdane and he is a great guy. We first met back in January at the Avalon Airshow when he was looking at different options for camera equipment on behalf of his government. What a great trip, BOB from A&T Australia was there as well and we amazed the locals with our utter lack of French. But at least we tried! What a beautiful place. Thank you to Freddy, Laurent, Alain and Rudy for all the excellent help. Can't wait to go back and continue with advanced training for Martial in 6-8 weeks time. Pinching myself again. Hard!
