January 2008 - Doosan Offshore Power Boat

Have just done a still shoot of the Doosan Offshore Powerboat. Man those things can move! This time we had the door off and were charging along right next to the boat at 100kts...

...it was a nice sunny day and the water was behaving itself, it's times like these that you pinch yourself. The concept for the shoot was, you guessed it..speed! We nailed it, the shots look massive and are being used for some big posters, when we have the design we'll put them on the site. Thanks to Steve for some excellent flying, made it look easy. Large versions of a few of these shots are on the Marine page.

Finished the BOP Horticulture video, once again we used one of Liam Ryan's songs for the soundtrack. Keeping it real, keeping it local...his music is excellent. Check him out here.

What a massive start to the year, spent a week on Ultmate Escape to get some shots of the boat around Cathedral Cove, The Mercury Islands, and the Aldermans to use in brochures etc. Turns out that Dave Pachoud is a master chef! Thanks for the trip, what an awesome adventure!

Have also been doing some more work for Pauanui and Whitianga Waterways while in the Coromandel, and now working on a concept for a music video for a band we like...should be a goodie if we get the go ahead. The last music video we made was for Take the Willing which is airing on Juice and C4 at the moment, was great fun to legitimately use crazy shaky shots and get that out of our system...but we're ready for more!

And some more good news, we now accept Barter Card. Let's Barter!
