December 2009 - World Cup Soccer!
Helifilms Ltd has just announced that they will be providing the aerial unit covering the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa, so that means I get to go! Jesus Jones, how good is that? Six weeks in South Africa, can't wait. Thanks Helifilms!
According to Sara Hine (Helifilms), there will be between 5 and 7 aerial units. Each will be based in one of the main Soceer cities. So keep an eye out for the aerial footage during the World Cup, hopefully we can sneak a giraffe or two in there =)
In the mean time I've been doing more Infra Red work and refining how to tune the images to different situations...fire, thermal mapping of waterways, electrcity inspection etc. Peace, Dan
